Short Description:
The In Situ residency, hosted by Cité internationale des arts in Paris, is a six-month multidisciplinary program that supports emerging artists engaging with ecological and societal transformation. The 2025 program, curated by María Inés Rodríguez, brings together ten artists across various disciplines to work individually and collectively in a live-in studio while benefiting from professional networking, financial support, and thematic research guidance.
Residency Length: October 3, 2025 – March 26, 2026 (six months)

Before completing the online application form, please make sure you have scanned copies of the following documents to hand (PDF format).
• A curriculum vitae in English (4 pages maximum, pdf);
• A letter of intent in English in which the candidate states his/her motivation to take part in a collective and supervised research and creation experience in Paris at the Cité internationale des arts. The candidate will also present his/her professional background, the purpose of his/her current research, as well as his/her interest and commitment to the subject and the focus proposed by the invited personality (4 pages maximum, pdf);
• A portfolio presenting the projects carried out within the last 10 years maximum and those in progress (detailed technical captions, 15 pages maximum, pdf);
• An administrative document proving residence in the European Union and a valid resident permit (proof of address, residence certificate, etc.).
Eligibility:
Open to emerging artists (active within the last 10 years)
Open to all nationalities, but must reside within the European Union
Must be able to communicate in English
Duos and collectives can apply but receive only one stipend, studio, and grant

€1,000/month stipend
€2,000 research and production grant
