Launched in 2014, the International Poster Competition is one of the largest contemporary poster collections globally, with over 58,000 entries from 110+ countries. It offers a platform for designers to showcase their work internationally, with physical and digital exhibitions, publication opportunities, and cash prizes.

- Fees: The competition has been free to enter for 9 years. A fee of £20 per entry is now asked for participation in order to continue offering the competition platform.
Eligibility: Open to everyone (students, graduates, professionals, etc.) worldwide. Posters must have been created between 2023–2025. Animated and moving posters are accepted.
Theme: Open brief — posters can be created for clients, self-promotion, or specifically for the competition. The jury values work that alters perceptions, sparks discussions, and uses media innovatively.
Submission Requirements:
- Static posters: JPG or PNG, up to 2000px wide, under 5MB.
- Moving posters: GIF or MP4, up to 1500px wide, under 20MB, or a YouTube/Vimeo link.
- Up to 8 posters per participant.
- Accurate designer credits required upon submission.
Application Process:
- Submit posters online via the competition website.
- Pay participation fee: £20 per poster (previously free for 9 years).
- Receive email confirmation upon successful submission.
Selection Process: The jury reviews entries in 4 rounds, progressively narrowing selections:
- Initial eligibility check.
- Potential selection discussion.
- Near-finalist status for high-merit work.
- Final selection for exhibition and publication.
