Kintai Arts is a Lithuanian non-profit organization active in Residency, Visual Arts, and educational programs since 2009. It focuses on supporting sound art, experimental music, and interdisciplinary practices through international collaborations. Kintai.Kitaip Open Call 2026 — Sonic Residency in LithuaniaThis open call invites professional sound artists from the Baltic states or based in the Baltics to participate in a two-week Residency in Kintai, Lithuania (8–23 June 2026). Participants will develop new sound works and perform them in public events in Kintai and Vilnius, with later performances in Estonia and Latvia. The residency emphasizes site-specific sonic exploration, creative dialogue, and experimental music practices, including live electronics, mixed music, acousmatic sound, and live coding.

Eligibility
- Professional sound artists from or residing in the Baltic states
- Experience in live electronics, acousmatic, mixed music, or experimental performance with electronic components
- Proficiency in English required
Program Benefits & Awards
- Artist Fee: €800 (VAT excluded)
- Accommodation and meals covered during residency
- Travel allowance within Europe: €200 per artist
- Travel and accommodation for events in Estonia and Latvia
- Access to basic technical equipment for sound creation
- Public presentations at residency and partner events
- Digital release of works via MIC Lithuania label
