Short Description
Hive Curates and Camden Council invites artists, designers and architects working with outdoor light installations to submit expressions of interest for Light Up Kilburn. Applicants are encouraged to respond
to the festival’s themes of biodiversity and women’s night-time safety, both with the aim of uniting communities. Submissions can be in the form of either existing artworks or new proposals. We particularly encourage artwork proposals that include elements of interaction with members of the local community, whether that be through workshops and skill-sharing activities, or co-creation and physical interaction with the artwork. There are a number of opportunities available for this open call.
Eligibility
We welcome applications from Black, Asian and those of other non-white ethnicities, those who identify as LGBTQ+, neurodiverse and disabled artists/people.
