Logan Art Gallery is the premier visual arts venue for the City of Logan, Queensland, Australia. Managed by the Logan City Council, the gallery is dedicated to celebrating the region’s diverse cultural identity and supporting the development of local and national artistic talent. The gallery provides a high-quality exhibition space that hosts a rotating program of solo, group, and curated touring exhibitions, alongside dedicated educational workshops and the "Young People’s Program."

2027 Exhibition Proposals: Logan Art Gallery Open Call
This call invites artists, curators, and collectives to submit proposals for the 2027 exhibition season. There are two distinct streams available:
- Gallery Exhibition (General): For individuals or groups looking to present significant developments in their artistic practice through innovative, high-quality exhibitions.
- Young People's Program: Specifically for projects designed to engage, excite, and inspire young audiences through bold ideas and interactive experiences. The program seeks work that reflects the cultural diversity and creative vibrancy of the City of Logan, fostering meaningful connections between artists and the community.

- Visual Arts: Including Painting, Sculpture, Photography, Printmaking, and Textile Art.
- New Media: Video Art, Digital Art, and Moving Image.
- Craft & Design: Ceramic art, contemporary jewelry, and experimental design.
- Interdisciplinary: Projects that blend performance, sound, or community engagement with visual arts.
Eligibility
- National (Australia-wide): Open to all creative practitioners aged 18 and over.
- Diversity Focus: Applications are strongly encouraged from First Nations artists, culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities, artists with disabilities, and LGBTQIA+ artists.
- Connection to Logan: Preference is often given to practitioners who can demonstrate a connection to the City of Logan or whose work resonates with its local social fabric.
Program Benefits & Awards
- Artist Fees: Selected exhibitors receive industry-standard artwork loan fees (based on NAVA guidelines).
- Professional Presentation: Includes professional gallery installation, marketing, and promotional support (catalogues, invitations, and media releases).
- Support Services: Direct assistance from the Gallery’s curatorial and technical staff.
- Funding Opportunities: Selected artists may be eligible for additional support through the Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF).

- Exhibition Concept: A clear description of the themes, aesthetics, and artistic innovation (Max 2,000 characters).
- Artwork Description: Details on the medium, quantity, and installation requirements.
- Support Material: Up to 10 images clearly representing your practice, provided as a single PDF document (Max 32MB).
- Artist CV & Bio: Brief professional history and biography.
- Technical Needs: Identification of any specialized lighting, audio-visual, or curatorial support required.

Logan Art Gallery consists of several distinct spaces. Applicants should specify if their work is suited for the larger, more competitive Gallery 1 & 2 (often reserved for mid-career/established artists or group shows) or the smaller, more intimate project spaces. Proposals that include public programs, such as artist talks or workshops, are highly regarded.
