Title & Description:
Applications are open for the MagiC Carpets Artistic Residency in Wrocław 2026.
The organizers are looking for an artist working with photography and multimedia to engage with the Korean community in Wrocław. This residency offers an opportunity for in-depth research and artistic work based on collecting stories, experiences, and narratives from this specific minority group.
The selected artist will work in an urban context—visiting spaces important to the Korean community—to reflect on visibility, migration, and the memory of place. The residency emphasizes process over ready-made forms and will culminate in a public presentation of the work developed in collaboration with the curator and the community.
