Mittelyoung 2026 | Paura (Fear)
This is an open call for young European artists and companies to submit projects to be included in the 2026 festival program. The opportunity is designed for new generations to present their work, compare it with international experiences, and grow in a context of dialogue and discovery. Nine selected shows will be staged during the festival. The thematic focus for 2026 is "Paura" (Fear).

Eligibility
- Young artists (under 30 years old)
- International artists are welcome to apply
- Emerging artists from all artistic disciplines are encouraged to apply
Program Benefits & Awards
- Selected artists will receive the opportunity to showcase their work at Mittelfest 2026.
- Artists will have access to professional mentoring and networking opportunities.
- Accommodation and travel expenses may be covered for selected artists.
- Some selected projects may also receive a production grant or budget to support their work.
