mur.at is a net art initiative and platform for artists and cultural workers with a focus on open-source technologies, digital art, and collective infrastructure. Based in Graz, Austria, mur.at provides server space, digital tools, and collaborative support to artists working at the intersection of art and technology. The organization works closely with local and international partners to foster open culture, experimentation, and digital autonomy. This residency is presented in collaboration with the Collective Intelligence Association (CIA), a research and artistic framework focused on alternative knowledge systems and collective computational processes.

mur.at & CIA – Artist Residency & Worklab: Collective Intelligence
This open call invites artists, coders, writers, and researchers to take part in a 5-day collaborative residency and worklab in Graz. The residency focuses on collective intelligence, exploring the artistic and social implications of decentralized systems, community knowledge production, and networked art. Participants will co-curate the program, develop interventions or prototypes, and publicly present their work. The aim is to foster cross-disciplinary exchange while promoting Free/Libre & Open-Source Software (FLOSS) practices.

  • €150 travel reimbursement (non-Graz artists)
  • Accommodation provided for non-local participants
  • €500 honorarium per artist
