Title & Description
One Caucasus Music Academy 2026 – International Musical Residency & Collaboration Program
The One Caucasus Music Academy 2026 invites musicians from around the world to participate in a 9-day immersive residency and collaborative music lab set in the mountainous regions of Georgia. This program is designed as an intensive intercultural platform where artists co-create, experiment, and perform original music across genres.
Taking place in Mestia (Svaneti region) and Tserakvi (Marneuli region), the academy brings together international musicians, local bands, and traditional ensembles to engage in a dynamic process of collective composition and live performance preparation.
Participants will collaborate closely with Georgian rhythm and horn sections, as well as local musicians rooted in regional traditions. The program culminates in two major live concerts, showcasing newly developed works that reflect cross-cultural exchange and artistic experimentation.
This opportunity emphasizes interdisciplinary collaboration, cultural dialogue, and real-time creation, making it ideal for artists interested in pushing the boundaries of music through collaboration and context-driven practice.
