Organizer Information:

LiTE-HAUS is a non-profit organization (Ad Finem gGmbH) located in Berlin. Please note that this specific exhibition is not grant-funded and was not awarded project space funding; therefore, it operates on a co-funding model where artists support the show through donations.

Description:

LiTE-HAUS is seeking artists for a Group Exhibition scheduled for late February through March 2026. There is no theme for this exhibition. The goal is to allow more opportunities for artists and create a diverse show that attracts a wider audience. While the organizers prefer small or medium-sized works, artists are welcome to apply with artworks of any size. Artists are not required to attend the Vernissage or the exhibition in person.

Eligibility:

The call specifically seeks artists based in or near Berlin. However, artists not located in Berlin may still participate if they ship their art. Note: Artists shipping work must pay shipping costs both ways and an additional fee for unpacking/repacking.

Program Benefits & Awards:

  • Exhibition: Participation in a 2.5-week group show in Berlin.

  • Sales: No sales commission will be taken for this exhibition.

  • Support: The gallery will handle installation and gallery-sitting.

Application Fee:

Free to apply (Donations are not required to submit an application). Participation Donation (If Selected): Artists co-fund the show based on the number and size of artworks:

  • Works up to 70 cm: €70 (1st work), €50 (2nd work), €20 (each additional).

  • Works >70 cm (up to 100 cm): €95 per artwork.

  • Larger works: Donation determined upon selection.

Application Requirements:

  • Files: Prepare a maximum of 10 files (PNG or JPEG).

  • Naming: LASTNAME_FIRSTNAME_WIDTHxHEIGHT_NUMBER (e.g., KOCH_ROBERT_50x40_1).

  • Specs: Images must be 800 Pixels height and no larger than 1MB. Measurements must include the frame.

  • Note: Submissions with incorrectly prepared files will not be reviewed.

  • Vernissage: February 26, 2026 (6 PM – 9 PM).

  • Exhibition Dates: February 26 – March 14, 2026.

  • Delivery (In Person): February 22 or 23.

  • Pickup (In Person): March 15 or 16.

Additional Details:

The gallery does not have space to store packing materials; artists delivering in person must take materials with them. For shipped art, if works are not picked up by March 16, a daily storage fee applies. Artists cannot choose where their work hangs; the gallery manages installation.
