This call invites interdisciplinary projects that combine art, science, and citizen participation to rethink and reshape a sustainable, resilient, and equitable blue economy. Applicants are encouraged to explore overlooked or intangible aspects of water-dependent economies, amplify local voices, and develop new narratives or sensory experiences related to oceans, rivers, and aquatic communities. Projects must engage communities, collaborate with at least one blue economy actor, and culminate in a public event showcasing artistic outcomes and raising awareness of water-related environmental and social challenges.
