Title & Description

Project Curator Job UK Wakefield – Hepworth Roles (Maternity Cover)

This role is a fixed-term curatorial position supporting the delivery of a major temporary exhibition scheduled to open in May 2027. The position is focused on research, exhibition planning, administrative coordination, installation processes, and contribution to associated publication and public programming.

The curator will work closely with the Artistic Director to shape and execute a large-scale exhibition project, ensuring both scholarly depth and public accessibility.

The Role Overview

  • Type: Fixed-term Job
  • Duration: July 2026 – June 2027 (approx. 12 months)
  • Salary: £35,250 per annum (pro rata)
  • Working Pattern: Part-time (15–22.5 hours/week), full-time during installation phase
  • Reporting To: Artistic Director
  • Work Model: Hybrid working available
  • Programme Focus: Exhibition development, curatorial research, publication, public programming
