Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, LLP offers a unique Artist-in-Residence program designed to provide a platform for emerging and underrepresented artists. The program is overseen by a selection committee appointed by curator Alexis Hyde and John Quinn.

2026 Los Angeles Artist-in-Residence Program.
This residency supports the existing practice or new projects of artists working across all disciplines within the Greater Los Angeles area. The program provides an office-based studio environment within the firm's Los Angeles location, fostering a "distinct and new voice" in the contemporary art scene.

Eligibility
- Location: Open only to artists residing in Greater Los Angeles.
- Career Stage: Preference is given to emerging and mid-career artists.
- Focus: Strong interest in providing opportunities to underrepresented artists.
- Education: There is no specific education requirement.
- Language: All application materials must be submitted in English.
Program Benefits and Awards
- Stipend: A total of $20,000 ($5,000 per month for four months).
- Materials Allowance: Up to $1,500 for the purchase of art materials.
- Studio Space: Access to a secure, 24/7 office-studio at the Quinn Emanuel Los Angeles location.
- Exhibition: A culminating exhibition curated by Alexis Hyde, with at least one work incorporated into the firm's permanent collection.

- Proposal: Maximum 500 words, included in the body of the email.
- Resume/CV: Provided in PDF format.
- Digital Portfolio: A single PDF (max 20MB) featuring up to 8 original works (maximum 10 images total).
- Video/Media: Links may be included in the body of the email.

Additional Details
