Are you a budding performing artist brimming with inspiration? And do you have an artistic concept you want to develop? Then take part in the Roel Verniers Prize 2025! Het TheaterFestival is looking for inspiring concepts from budding performing artists: theatre, dance, slam, performance, lyric writing … Anyone can participate!
How to Apply
Fill in this Google survey, email your artistic concept on a maximum of one A4 or in a video message of up to three minutes + your CV to info@theaterfestival.be.
Program Benefits & Awards
The winner of the Roel Verniers Prize 2025 will receive:
— a co-production amount of 10,000 euros for the realization of an artistic concept;
— the invitation to show the realisation of this concept at the Theatre Festival 2026 in Brussels;
— a preparatory workshop ‘Pitch & feedback’ by Aïcha Cissé, offered by Mestizo Arts Platform.
The eight finalists will receive:
— business and legal personal consultation by Cultuurloket;
— a coaching session by the theatre maker;
— Business follow-up and support by Amplo for one year.
