Postdoctoral Awards 2026
The Postdoctoral Awards support early-career researchers worldwide to conduct interdisciplinary research connecting art and knowledge. Awardees receive funding to pursue research leading to publications on any topic within the arts, humanities, or sciences, with a focus on art as a source of knowledge and its societal relevance. Recipients present their work at the Company of Ideas Forum at the Sculpture Park, fostering exchange with scholars and artists. The award encourages original scholarship, dissemination of knowledge, and contribution to cultural discourse.

Eligibility:
- Open internationally to early-career researchers in Arts, Humanities, or Sciences.
- Applicants must be in the final stages of a PhD program or have submitted their PhD within the last three years.
- Must commit to presenting research at the Company of Ideas Forum.
Program Benefits & Awards:
- $7,000 CAD (~$5,000 USD / £3,900) for research and publication expenses, including travel, archival work, research assistance, image permissions, and open-access fees.
- Travel, accommodation, and presentation expenses covered for attendance at the Company of Ideas Forum, June 15–17, 2026.
- Professional visibility through presentation at an international forum and publications.
