Short Description

The Scuola Piccola Zattere Fellowship is a 3-month research and artistic development program in Venice, Italy. The fellowship is open to artists, curators, researchers, architects, choreographers, performers, and writers. It takes place during the institution’s first season of activity, One Year Score, and focuses on interdisciplinary research themes.

 

Duration: May – July 2025 (3 months)

 

Themes of the Residency

The fellowship is structured around the One Year Score program, focusing on:

Social dynamics: Aggregation, conflict, and negotiation

Body and space: Architecture, movement, and performance

The score as a conceptual tool for artistic research

 

Selection Process

Evaluations in March 2025

Possible online interview for finalists

Results announced by the end of March

 

Eligibility

Open to artists and cultural practitioners

No age restrictions (but aimed at post-academic phase professionals)

Open to international applicants (must hold a valid passport)

Good knowledge of English required

Collectives/duos can apply, but funding remains the same
