The National Gallery of Kosovo (NGK) and the Cité internationale des arts are proud to present the second edition of Shtëpi, a collaborative residency program. This initiative is designed to foster international mobility for Kosovar artists, broadening their professional networks and strengthening their research and production practices within the vibrant Paris art scene.

Shtëpi Residency Programme for Visual Artists.
Three artists will be selected to participate in a fully funded, three-month residency in Paris. The program focuses on providing dedicated support for research and creation, concluding with a group exhibition curated by Hana Halilaj at NGK–QAFA in Kosovo.

Eligibility
- Nationality: Must be of Kosovar nationality, currently living and working in Kosovo.
- Experience: Minimum of three years of professional artistic practice.
- Language: Effective communication skills in English or French.
- Exclusions: Artists who have previously benefited from a residency at Cité internationale des arts are ineligible.
- Collectives: Duos or collectives may apply, but only one residency grant (studio/stipend) is awarded per application.
Program Benefits and Awards
- Accommodation: A private live-in studio (20–35m²) in the Marais district, Paris, for three months.
- Financial Support: A monthly living stipend to cover expenses.
- Travel: Coverage of international round-trip airfare and travel insurance.
- Professional Support: Tailored networking opportunities and mentorship.
- Exhibition Rewards: Following the residency, participants receive an artist fee, a production budget, and logistical support for a group exhibition at NGK–QAFA.
Fees
- Application Fee: None.
- Accompanying Persons: Optional fees apply for adults (€173/mo) or children under 7 (€128/mo).
Application Requirements
- CV: Max 4 pages, in English.
- Portfolio: Max 15 pages, in English, including visuals and captions (video/audio links allowed).
- Statement of Intent: Max 2 pages detailing current practice and the project planned for Paris.
- Project Proposal for NGK: Max 1 page proposing a new commission or scale-appropriate work for the exhibition.

Additional Details
Selection is based on the quality of the project, its relevance to the Parisian context, and proposed methodology. The Cité studios are currently not ADA-accessible, though future improvements are planned.
