Tenuta Valente Arts Villa is an independent residency program located in Capaccio Paestum, Italy, offering artists a serene environment in the Campania region to dedicate time to their practice, exchange ideas, and find renewed inspiration.

Applications are now open for the 2026 Summer Residency at Tenuta Valente Arts Villa.

This residency provides a tranquil summer escape for artists to focus on their creative projects. Applicants can choose from three fixed booking options, applying to be in residence for a minimum of 1 week and a maximum of 4 weeks.

Eligibility:

  • Who: Individual artists from all disciplines.
  • Experience: Open to artists of all levels of experience (from emerging to established).
  • Scope: International / Worldwide.

Program Benefits & Awards:

The residency provides a comprehensive living and working package, which includes:

  • Accommodation: Private en-suite accommodation.
  • Workspace: Studio access.
  • Amenities: Access to the swimming pool, Wi-Fi, utilities, and weekly cleaning services.

Application Fee & Program Costs:

  • Application Fee: Free to apply.
  • Residency Fee: This is a fee-based residency. The cost is €350 per week, per person. (Note: Artists must fund their own travel, meals, and art materials).

Application Requirements:

To apply, artists must submit an email that explains who they are, details their work, and states why they want to stay at Tenuta Valente. The following documents must be attached:

  1. BIO: Maximum 1 page in A4/Letter size (in English or Italian).
  2. Project Description: A description of yourself and your current project, maximum 1 page (in English or Italian).
  3. Portfolio: Sample work or a digital portfolio.
