Wild Heart Gallery invites artists to submit stunning portrayals of animals through 2D and 3D artwork, sculpture, and photography. Artists can embrace any style or genre, Abstraction, Portraiture, Surrealism, Realism, Pop Art, Expressionism, Assemblage, and more, as long as the focus is on animals.

Eligibility: • Open to international artists aged 18 or older. • Submissions must be original artworks and may include animals alongside other subjects like humans or landscapes. • Works must not have been included in previous Wild Heart Gallery shows. • Art can include elements beyond animals, such as humans, objects, landscapes, or abstract forms, as long as the focus remains on the animal(s) and fits the theme. • Categories include: Digital Art (must be original work), Drawing and Pastels, Mixed Media, Painting, Photography, Printmaking, Sculpture, Other Media
Theme: Animal-focused art that showcases creativity, originality, and exceptional technique in any style or medium.
How to Apply: • Submit entries via the official application platform. • Include accurate category selection (e.g., Painting, Digital Art, Sculpture). Misplaced categories will not impact the entry.
Submission Requirements: • Up to 2 images per entry (3 additional views allowed for sculptures). • File types: JPG, PNG, GIF; size: 100 KB–5 MB; dimensions: minimum 1000 px in width or height. • Clear, high-quality images without watermarks or frames. • Policy: No nudity (private parts must be covered), no profanity, no animal cruelty, no gore, and no political artwork will be accepted for jury. Topics of animal conservation and environmental protection are not considered political for the purposes of Wild Heart Gallery.
Selection Process: • Jury selection takes place within 7 to 15 days after the final entry date. Award recipients will be included in an online group exhibition published shortly after. (JURORS: Sarah Soward, Sharon Eisley, and guest juror TBA) • Evaluated by a panel of jurors based on theme, appropriate medium, originality, quality of work, technique, and technical skill. • Only award recipients will be featured in the online group exhibition.
Awards: • Best of Show: $350 + promotion on Wild Heart Gallery’s channels and Art Week. • Overall Runner Up: $150 + promotion and inclusion in the virtual exhibition. • Blick Art Materials Award: $100 gift coupon for Dick Blick Art Materials + promotion. • Artivism Award: $50 cash award + promotion. • All winners will be included in the virtual group exhibition, receive award certificates, and gain exposure through WHG’s social media and eNewsletter.
