Short Description

The National Wool Museum invites emerging designers from all over the world to submit one ensemble that represents their commitment to sustainable fashion.

This is a biennial prize and exhibition celebrating dynamic and diverse ethical design. Aligned with Geelong’s designation as a UNESCO City of Design designation, the National Wool Museum is dedicated to championing the past, present and future of fashion to build upon Geelong’s ongoing role in the wool, fibre and textile industries.

Eligibility

Emerging professional designers working in sustainable fashion with less than ten years industry experience
Entrants can be based anywhere in the world.
There are no age restrictions.

Submission Requirements

Title of your ensemble
Names of designer or designers involved in the production if it is a collaborative entry
List of the materials and processes used to make the items (150 word maximum)
Designer statement (300 word maximum)
CV and bio (2 pages maximum)
One video (up to 60 seconds) showcasing an aspect of items in production.
Three high-resolution images (300dpi) showing “work-in-progress” [these can include original sketches, drawings or notebook entries]. 
Three high-resolutions images (300dpi) showing the completed outfit.
