Title & Description:
Applications are open for the Tilal Utique Artist in Residency Programme.
Situated between Tunis and Bizerte, Tilal Utique sits within a landscape shaped by Mediterranean ecology and layered histories. The residency invites artists to spend three weeks developing research, reflecting on their practice, and entering into dialogue with other artists and thinkers. Residencies conclude with a shared moment of presentation (a conversation, open studio, or informal gathering), heavily prioritizing research, dialogue, and process rather than finished production. Artists are also invited to leave a trace (a gesture, text, planting, or drawing) to contribute to the evolving memory of the site.
