Organizer Information:

Urban Tree Festival (UTF). A non-political, not-for-profit Community Interest Company run by passionate volunteers and staff. The festival is an annual community celebration of trees in cities, towns, and all urban environments.

Title & Description:

Applications are open for the Urban Tree Festival 2026.

There are two tracks for submission:

  1. The Urban Forest Exhibition: Seeking broad and creative interpretations of the "urban forest" theme to create an immersive, engaging environment at Art Hub Studios in London.
  2. Open Call for Events: Seeking guided tree walks, creative workshops, mindful nature sessions, ecology talks, or community nature projects across the UK or online.

Category:

Multidisciplinary & Environmental Art (Including painting, sculpture, installation, performance, film/digital, written/spoken word, and experiential/participatory work).

Eligibility:

  • Who: Open to artists, ecologists, urban planners, storytellers, and community organizers.
  • Thematic Focus: Work and events MUST explore the theme of the urban forest or help people connect with urban trees.
  • Platform Requirement: Applicants MUST have a valid Google account to log in and submit the application form.

Program Benefits & Awards:

  • Exhibition Space: Selected exhibition artists will have their work showcased at Art Hub Studios in New Cross, London.
  • Platform: Event organizers will have their activities featured in the official UK-wide UTF 2026 program.

Application Requirements:

  • Applications are submitted via Google Forms.
  • Preparation: The organizers explicitly request that you gather all materials (event description, images, timings, links, and key details) before starting the form, as it is difficult to append missing pieces later.
