Visual Music Residency with Lea Fabrikant and Tarik Barri
This week-long residency (April 18–22, 2026) is designed for musicians and visual artists interested in exploring the intersection of sound and image. Participants will develop real-time audiovisual work where visuals respond to music, using tools such as Ableton Live and the Videosync software. The residency emphasizes experimentation, improvisation, and the treatment of visuals as musical instruments rather than decorative elements. Artists will engage in both individual and collaborative work, learning practical workflows, audiovisual synchronization, and strategies for integrating sound and image in live performance, installation, or studio practice. The program balances technical skills with reflective practice in a serene, 50-acre woodland estate in Cornwall, UK.Categories
