The Lewis B. and Dorothy Cullman–Joan Whitney Payson Postdoctoral Fellowship is a one-year, full-time position designed for emerging scholars considering careers in museum education or academic engagement. The fellowship offers hands-on experience in object-based teaching, university-level curricular programs, and pedagogy workshops. The fellow will be involved in teaching, research, and the development of innovative teaching resources at the Yale University Art Gallery.

Eligibility:
- Academic Requirements: PhD in art history, visual studies, archaeology, anthropology, education, or related fields
- Experience: At least one year of teaching experience in a museum setting using objects
- Other Requirements:
- Must reside in the greater New Haven area
- Must work on-site at the Yale University Art Gallery five days a week
- Some evening and weekend work may be required
- Commitment to inclusive teaching practices and interdisciplinary teaching
- Strong communication, interpersonal, research, and writing skills
