Overview
Founded in 2014, INVE is a nomadic, artist-led experimental arts platform, residency program, and cultural lab based in the Valparaíso Region of Chile, with an active curatorial presence in Spain. Operated by a collective of Chilean artists and cultural managers, INVE focuses on contemporary hybrid arts, performance, moving image, and public space interventions. To date, the platform has supported over 200 international artists through labs, mentorships, film series, residencies, and festivals.
Mission
INVE aims to provide a collaborative, process-oriented space for artistic research and creation centered on the body, the moving image, and territory. Grounded in what they term the “politics of tenderness” and collective creation, the platform seeks to challenge established institutional structures, dismantle rigid disciplinary boundaries, and bring experimental performance and video art directly into public spaces to connect memories, bodies, and local communities.
