Description & Background
Founded in 2022 by Professor Anand Saggar and Victoria Charlton, The Graduate Art Show is a UK-based Community Interest Company (C.I.C.) dedicated to bridging the gap between art school graduation and building a sustainable commercial practice. Operating as an artist-centric organization, the platform showcases outstanding BA and MA graduates from over 40 UK universities and beyond through annual flagship exhibitions, strategic commercial gallery partnerships, and high-profile industry networking.
Objectives
The Graduate Art Show aims to champion emerging creative talent by demystifying the art market, eliminating traditional barriers to entry, and offering a national platform where new voices can be seen, celebrated, and collected. Governed by core values of inclusivity, access, and commercial elevation, the C.I.C. re-invests its resources into supporting early-career artists. The organization strives to provide graduates with direct exposure to key decision-makers, facilitating gallery representation, exhibition invites, awards, and long-term career sustainability.
