The platform emphasizes critical empathy, nuanced perspectives, and collaboration, aiming to strengthen the global art ecosystem by supporting emerging and established writers.

2026 Artlab Editorial Fellowship
Open to art writers at any career stage worldwide. Fellows will produce three web-based articles on contemporary art, emphasizing critical empathy, balancing care and critique, and engaging readers in dialogue that deepens understanding of contemporary art practices.

Program Benefits & Awards
- $10,000 USD per Fellow for the year
- Mentorship with Fellowship Advisors Mira Dayal and Gary Zhexi Zhang
- Guidance from Artlab Editorial’s Editor Shannon Lee
- Publication of three 800-word articles (one every two months) on Artlab Editorial
- Opportunity to contribute to global contemporary art discourse and network with peers and advisors
