Art Zoyd Studios. Throughout the year, Art Zoyd Studios hosts composers, musicians, and artists working in the fields of electroacoustic and electronic music for residencies.

Title & Description:

Applications are open for the Art Zoyd Studios Residence 2026/2027.

These residencies last between one and two weeks and allow for research, experimentation, and development, with guidance from a Computer Music Designer (CMD). These periods are rarely consecutive and are generally spaced several months apart, depending on the center's availability. Selected projects must involve in-depth work in computer music, electronics, or composition.

Eligibility:

  • Who: Open to artists from all over the world. (Note: The languages spoken at the residency are French and English).
  • Focus: Projects must focus on musical creation or a transdisciplinary project with a strong musical component. They must identify areas of electroacoustic or electronic music and involve in-depth work in computer music, electronics, or composition.

Program Benefits & Awards:

  • Accommodation & Meals: Expenses covered during the residency (accommodation + meals).
  • Travel Stipend: Contribution towards transportation costs from home to the studios (capped at €400).
  • Technical Support: Access to the studio's technical equipment and dedicated technical and artistic support from the Computer Music Director (CMD).
  • Financial Note: Residencies are unpaid. However, a copyright bonus may be awarded depending on the project.
