Short Description:

Arteventura offers self-directed residencies for professional artists of all disciplines in a 25-hectare off-the-grid finca in Andalusia, Spain. The residency emphasizes sustainability, solitude, and engagement with nature, providing artists with the time and space for research and development. The program supports both individual artists and collaborative duos or groups.
Application Details:
Applications are open year-round. Artists must submit a completed form, a portfolio, a motivation letter, and a description of their artistic practice. A €20 application fee is required, except for last-minute or waiting-list applications. Artists are selected on a rolling basis and receive a response within four weeks. Upon acceptance, a 50% deposit is due within 8 days to confirm the residency. The remaining balance must be paid 60 days before arrival. A refundable €120 deposit is also required

Eligibility:

Open to professional artists internationally. Artists can apply individually, as a duo, or in groups (up to 12 people).

Residency Fee:
4-week individual: €1,360 + 10% tax
4-week duo: €1,260 + 10% tax per artist
6-week individual: €2,040 + 10% tax
6-week duo: €1,890 + 10% tax per artist
Group: €1,160–1,790 + 10% tax per artist (based on duration)
Refundable Deposit: €120
