Culture Moves Europe is the permanent mobility scheme of the European Union, implemented by the Goethe-Institut. It is designed to foster international collaboration and professional development for artists within the Creative Europe network.
Title & Description:
The Call for Individual Mobility provides financial support to artists and cultural professionals to travel and implement a project with an international partner (an organization or another individual). The project must last between 7 and 60 days (for individuals) or 7 and 21 days (for groups). Projects must pursue at least two of the following goals: to explore (conduct research), to create (develop new work), to learn (non-formal education), or to connect (develop professional networks).

Eligibility:
- Who: Individual artists or groups (up to 5 people) aged 18+.
- Residency: Must legally reside in a Creative Europe country (includes EU member states and associated countries like Albania, Armenia, Georgia, Iceland, Norway, Serbia, Tunisia, Ukraine, and others).
- Exclusions: Applicants who have already received Culture Moves Europe Individual Mobility funding in previous cycles are not eligible to reapply.
Program Benefits & Awards:
The grant is composed of several cumulative parts:
- Travel Allowance: €350 for distances under 5,000 km; €700 for distances over 5,000 km.
- Daily Allowance: €75 per day to cover accommodation, food, and local transport.
- Top-ups (if applicable):
- Green Travel: €350 for not using airplanes.
- Family Support: €100 for those with children under 10.
- Visa Fee: €80.
- Disability Support: Up to 100% of necessary costs for artists with disabilities.

- Portfolio (artistic work samples).
- Project Description (explaining the mobility's objectives).
- Letter of Invitation: A signed document from the international partner confirming the collaboration.

Apply through the Goethe-Application Portal. Applicants must create an account and complete the online form, providing proof of legal residence and their professional documents.
Key Dates:
The call operates on a rolling basis with monthly evaluation cut-off dates:
- Next cut-off: March 31, 2026.
- Final Deadline: April 30, 2026.
- Note: Applicants are notified of the results approximately 5–6 weeks after the end of each monthly cut-off.
