The Fiminco Foundation is a major contemporary art institution located in the FAST cultural district (Romainville/Grand Paris), France. Spanning 50,000 m², the Foundation is dedicated to supporting the creative process and professional development of international artists. By providing high-end technical facilities and fostering cross-disciplinary exchanges, the Foundation acts as a catalyst for contemporary creation while promoting cultural access to the wider public.

La Fabrique des Arts 2026 Residency Season.

This flagship program is divided into three distinct factories: La Fabrique des Arts Visuels, La Fabrique des Arts Vivants, and La Fabrique des Métiers d'Art. The residency is designed to provide a working environment conducive to the expansion of artistic practices, offering access to specialized workshops for ceramics, 3D printing, weaving, screen printing, and more. Residents benefit from a structured ecosystem of curatorial assistance, administrative support, and professional networking sessions with collectors, curators, and gallery owners.

Eligibility

  • Visual Arts: Open to major French and international visual artists (individual applications only).
  • Performing Arts (x ADAMI): Open to artists/groups (up to 3) supported by a French private law structure and with a professional track record in recognized venues.
  • Crafts & Design: Open to individual French and international craftspeople and designers of legal age.
  • Applicants must be adults and commit to a continuous, daily presence on-site.
  • Note: Each call for applications is capped at 500 submissions.

Program Benefits and Awards

  • Production Grant:
    • Visual Arts: €5,000 for the 10-month term.
    • Crafts: €2,500 for the 5-month term.
    • Performing Arts: €850 per month, per artist.
  • Housing & Studio: On-site living and working spaces provided.
  • Workshops: Access to state-of-the-art construction, 3D printing, photography, and textile studios.
  • Professional Development: Curatorial support, networking meetings, and French language courses for international artists.
  • Exhibition: Participation in Open Studio days and potential rehearsal/performance showings.

Fees

  • Application Fee: Free to apply.
  • Participation Fee: None; however, additional costs apply for occasional guests.

Application Requirements

  • Projects must be well-defined and detailed.
  • Visual Arts & Crafts: Portfolio and project proposal (Individual).
  • Performing Arts: Project involving at least one artist on stage, supported by a French entity (Max 3 people).
  • Submission must specify a main practice for technical allocation.
  • Documents must be downloaded and completed to access the final Google Form portal.
