Homiens is an international art platform focused on supporting artists through exhibitions, awards, professional visibility, and connections with the wider art world. Through the Homiens Art Prize, the organization provides artists with opportunities for recognition, exhibition, networking, and career development. The prize is a non-acquisitive award, meaning artists retain ownership of their submitted artworks.

The Homiens Art Prize
The Homiens Art Prize is an international art competition open to artists at all career stages, from emerging artists seeking professional recognition to established practitioners. The prize has no specific artistic theme and accepts artworks across a broad range of media and disciplines.
Each quarterly round selects 10 winners, who receive a cash prize and are featured in a seasonal online exhibition. Up to 200 additional artists are highly commended in each round. The program also provides opportunities for international visibility through Homiens' website, mailing list, Meet the Artists initiative, and optional artist interviews.
Artworks created in any year are eligible, and there are no restrictions on artwork size.

Eligibility
The prize is international and open to all artists globally. There are no stated age, nationality, career-stage, or gender restrictions. Both emerging and established professional artists may enter.
Artist representatives may also submit work on behalf of artists. Selected winners must confirm their agreement to Homiens' Terms and Conditions.
Up to 3 images may be uploaded for each artwork. Video and sound-based works may have a maximum duration of 30 minutes.
Program Benefits & Awards
The Homiens Art Prize awards $12,000 USD annually. Each quarterly round includes:
- 10 winners, each receiving $300 USD
- Exhibition of the 10 winning artists in a seasonal online exhibition
- Up to 200 highly commended artists per round
- International exposure through the Homiens website and mailing list
- Opportunity to participate in the Meet the Artists initiative
- Optional participation in The Art of Art: Interviews
- Opportunity to request a letter of recommendation from Homiens jurors
- Networking opportunities with artists, collectors, buyers, curators, and other art-world professionals
- A certificate of participation available to every entrant upon request
Artists retain ownership of their artworks.
Application Fee
The current Early Bird entry fee is:
- $30 USD for the first artwork
- $20 USD for each additional artwork
- The 6th and 12th entries are free
- Artists may submit multiple artworks/entries
The Early Bird rate is available until the end of September 2026, after which the standard entry fee will apply.

Selection is based on the images or links submitted with the application, so artists should ensure that their digital presentation accurately represents the work.
There are no theme or size restrictions, and artworks completed in any year can be submitted. Homiens does not acquire ownership of submitted artworks.
