New Road 2 Art is an independent international platform founded in France, dedicated to supporting contemporary artists through juried open calls, curated exhibitions, and immersive virtual gallery experiences. The platform is founded and organized by Narcisse Rafati, a contemporary artist and curator who has organized and curated more than 30 solo and group exhibitions in physical and virtual formats and who also founded the Watercolor Golden Brush International Competition. The exhibition's jury additionally includes Patrick Chanéac, a French sculptor and Vice-President of the Académie Lyonnaise de Peinture; Maylis Mazoyer Guizonne, an arts and culture professional with experience at the Lyon Contemporary Art Biennale and the Cité de l'Architecture et du Patrimoine; and Magali Novak, a Paris-trained visual artist and watercolor instructor based in Lyon. Since its launch, the platform states it has organized international virtual exhibitions featuring artists from numerous countries.

International Open Call for Artists — Landscape & Cityscape Virtual Exhibition
New Road 2 Art is inviting artists worldwide to submit 2D artworks responding to the theme of landscape and cityscape for its next international virtual exhibition. Submissions are reviewed by the platform's jury, and selected works are presented in an immersive 3D virtual gallery accessible online, with no physical shipment of artwork required. The call runs as a two-stage process: submission is free, and a participation fee is charged only after a work has been selected by the jury.

Eligibility
- Open to artists worldwide, regardless of country of residence or nationality
- Open to emerging, mid-career, and established artists
- Applications are evaluated solely on artistic quality and originality, regardless of educational background or exhibition history
- Artworks must be original and created by the submitting artist
- Previously exhibited or award-winning artworks are accepted, provided they are original works by the submitting artist and otherwise meet this call's eligibility requirements

Application Fee
Submission is free of charge. Artists whose work is selected by the jury are then invited to complete registration by paying a €20 participation fee, payable via Stripe or PayPal (credit/debit card, PayPal, Apple Pay, or Google Pay). This participation fee is non-refundable once paid, covering administrative, technical, and jury review costs, regardless of the outcome or any later withdrawal.

Additional Details
- Once submitted, uploaded images cannot be edited or replaced — applicants are advised to review files carefully before submitting
- Both submitted artworks (where two are submitted) may be accepted for the exhibition
- Submissions are reviewed by the platform's Exhibition Review Committee, based on artistic quality, originality, technical execution, and relevance to the exhibition theme and criteria
- Certificates are issued only to selected artists and award recipients, not to all applicants
- If a confirmation email is not received within a few hours of submitting, applicants are advised to check spam/junk folders before contacting the organizer
