Short Description

This summer Parent Company is excited to shift its programming from an exhibition space to a studio residency for artists whose work is based in installation and/or performance with an emphasis on site-responsive practices. The gallery space will change its focus from display to production, giving one resident the chance to work in the space for eight weeks. The residency will culminate in a final installation and an open studio-style event. This allows artists whose work defies objecthood and conventional market-driven definitions to have more space to show and engage with audiences.
