ReA! Art Fair is an international platform dedicated to independent and emerging artists, created as an alternative to the traditional fair circuit. Based in Milan, the fair exists to support artists at a pivotal stage in their practice, offering real visibility, fair selection, and direct access to collectors, curators, and art professionals.

Applications are now open for the 6th edition of ReA! Art Fair, taking place in Milan from 22 to 25 October 2026.

Selected artists will present their work over four days to an international audience including active collectors, gallery directors, curators, and art press. Milan’s October art week attracts key players from across Europe, making ReA! a strategic moment for exposure.

ReA! offers serious visibility during one of Europe’s most active art periods, focusing on direct artist-to-collector sales with transparent terms. Previous participants have secured solo exhibitions, gallery representation, and long-term collector relationships.

Eligibility:

  • Who: Independent and emerging artists working in all media.

  • Selection: The process is rigorous but fair, led by a team with first-hand experience in building sustainable artistic careers.

Program Benefits & Awards:

  • Cash Prize: €1,500 cash grant awarded to one artist (sponsored by Artsted).

  • Residency: A fully funded Italian residency with one of the partner organizations.

  • No Booth Fees: Participating artists receive full installation, dismantling, and booth assistance at no extra cost.

  • Curatorial Support: Each exhibitor is assigned a dedicated curator for artwork selection, installation planning, and pricing.

  • Promotion: Full communication support, inclusion in the print catalogue, social media promotion, and press coverage.
