Eligibility
The competition is open to typographic work worldwide, including professionals, students, and agencies.
Theme
Typography in all its forms, covering Communication Design, Lettering, and Type Design.
How to Apply
Participants must submit their entries via the official TDC71 platform, adhering to category-specific requirements. Discounts apply for regional participants and TDC members.
Submission Requirements
Communication Design: Any work incorporating typography, including print, digital, immersive experiences, architecture, fashion, film titles, and social media campaigns.
Lettering: Custom-created or modified letterforms, such as calligraphy, tattoos, and logotypes.
Type Design: Workable font software, including single typefaces, families, emojis, and generative type software.
Physical submissions are required for packaging, poster, and publication design categories.
Selection Process
A jury of global script experts, covering major writing systems (Latin, Arabic, Cyrillic, Indic, CJK, Thai, and select African scripts), will evaluate entries.
