To mark the 125th anniversary of our family-owned mill, EE Exclusives is launching its Textile Pioneer Program – a unique artist in residency designed for (emerging) textile professionals eager to deepen their expertise and create at the intersaction of craftsmanship and innovation. Let’s celebrate 125 years of weaving and shape the next chapter together. Textile beyond generations!
One dedicated artist or designer will be selected for a fully funded 9-week creative residency (value approx 7500 euros), including: access to our weaving facilities and our 125 year old archive, the opportunity to create a professional woven prototype on our high-tech jacquard machines, 6 working days at the factory (Heeze, NL) and 5 weeks of guided remote design development by our expert team.
Eligibility
Experience: Graduates with at least 2 years of experience in textile-related fields.
Skills: Strong connection to textiles and a desire to explore weaving on a deeper level.
Language: Proficiency in English; knowledge of Dutch is a plus but not required.

Program Benefits & Awards
- Funding: Approximately €7,500, covering all residency costs.
- On-Site Engagement: 6 working days at EE Exclusives’ factory, providing hands-on experience with high-tech jacquard machines and access to a 125-year-old textile archive.
- Remote Development: 5 weeks of guided design development supported by EE Exclusives’ creative team, including the creative director, project manager, and jacquard designer.
- Project Outcome: Creation of a professional woven prototype that blends traditional techniques with innovative design.
