Short Description:

The NYUAD Art Gallery is now accepting proposals for exhibitions at the Project Space for the 2025-2026 academic year. The deadline for proposal submissions is June 9, 2025.

This is an opportunity for curators, artists, and researchers based in the UAE to present their work, collaborate with our museum staff, and engage diverse audiences.

We encourage you to apply with ideas conceived as exhibition projects, whether you are a newcomer to the field of exhibition-making or a veteran exploring a new approach diverging from your usual work.

The Project Space committee is made up of representatives from across the NYUAD divisions. This committee will review all applications and make selections based on the mission and intellectual scope of NYUAD, including projects from humanities, arts, sciences, and engineering. If selected, exhibitions will typically run for 2-4 weeks depending on the schedule.

Application Requirements:

  • PortfolioProvide 0-25 items. Images (up to 10MB each), Video (up to 500MB each), Audio (up to 60MB each) and PDFs (up to 20MB each). You may also link to media from YouTube, Vimeo and SoundCloud

Program Benefits or Awards:

 The Project Space serves as a supportive environment for fresh perspectives and experimental projects, and offers mentorship and collaboration opportunities with the NYUAD community.

  • Selected exhibitions will run for 2–4 weeks
  • The Project Space committee, composed of NYUAD faculty and staff, will evaluate proposals
