Organizer Information
The Creative Laboratory of Contemporary Theater KRILA, based in Rijeka, Croatia, organizes TranziT. KRILA promotes independent European and Croatian performing artists and contemporary theatre practices.
The festival is supported by the City of Rijeka, the Ministry of Culture and Media of Croatia, and Primorsko-goranska County. TranziT fosters experimentation, collaboration, and innovative formats in both theatrical and non-theatrical spaces.
Title & Description
TranziT #7 – European Festival of Contemporary Theatre Practices
It invites independent performing artists and organizations to present contemporary works that explore physicality, movement, and participatory performance. Artists can apply to:
- Presentation of an Artistic Work: Includes performance, audience talk, and a short workshop.
- Research Lab: 1–2 guest artists collaborate with local artists, share methods, and explore potential future projects.
The festival encourages experimental formats, multimedia integration, and engagement with audiences to break conventional theatrical boundaries.

Eligibility
