Organizer Information
The Municipality of Woluwe-Saint-Pierre organizes this annual Arts Prize to distinguish and support the practice of contemporary painting. The competition aims to foster creative growth among artists at various career stages—from students and recent graduates to established amateurs—while building a municipal art collection that represents diverse trends in modern painting. By acquiring the winning work, the municipality ensures that local cultural heritage is continuously enriched by new artistic voices.
Title & Description
Woluwe-Saint-Pierre Arts Prize 2026 – Painting Edition.
This acquisitive prize celebrates the medium of painting in its broadest contemporary sense. The competition provides a high-profile platform for artists to present their work to a jury of professional experts, curators, and cultural figures. Selected works will be featured in a collective public exhibition at the Salle Fabry, culminating in the announcement of a winner whose work will enter the permanent collection of the municipality.
