Organizer Information
Group Global 3000 (GG3) is a nonprofit, self-organized gallery space in Berlin-Kreuzberg dedicated to sustainable art. The gallery functions as a project space where sustainability is not just the subject of the art, but also the practice of the organization, prioritizing resource-saving exhibition management and community dialogue.
Title & Description
Women.Life.Climate.
This juried group exhibition explores the vital role of women in the fight against the climate crisis. While women are disproportionately affected by climate change due to structural and geographical conditions, they remain underrepresented in technical and political decision-making. GG3 asks international artists to visualize the work of these active women—from global icons like Luisa Neubauer and Vanessa Nakate to the unsung individuals leading climate protection in their daily lives.
Sustainability Mandate:
In line with GG3's core values, artists are requested to specify the percentage of recycled material used in their work. The exhibition will be curated and implemented with a minimal ecological footprint.
