Organizer Information
Created and managed by Associazione A.p.s. Moho (an Italian art association with extensive experience in international art promotion), YICCA is an established global competition for contemporary creators. The prize is designed to serve as a career springboard, helping emerging and professional artists enter the international art market, connect with curators, collectors, and gallerists, and gain exposure through targeted media campaigns and physical gallery showcases in major European art capitals.

YICCA 26/27 - International Contest of Contemporary Art: Call for Entries
Associazione A.p.s. Moho has opened registrations for the YICCA 26/27 International Contest of Contemporary Art. Open to all artistic techniques and disciplines, the prize offers artists worldwide an opportunity to break into the international contemporary art market. A jury panel will select 18 finalist artists to participate in a physical group exhibition in Venice, Italy, at the Imagoars Art Space in Cannaregio. Among the 18 finalists, four cash prizes totaling €5,500 will be awarded, alongside inclusion in a printed color exhibition catalogue.

Eligibility
- Geographic Scope: Open unconditionally to artists, collectives, and professionals from any country worldwide.
- Age & Qualifications: No age restrictions (underage artists and students are welcome; no formal degree required).
- Artwork Constraints: Maximum scale size of 3 × 3 meters per entered physical artwork. Works must be owned by the artist and available for the physical exhibition in Venice.
- Volume: Each participant or collective may submit up to 6 artworks.
Program Benefits & Awards
- Cash Prizes:
- First Prize: €3,000 EUR
- Second Prize: €1,000 EUR
- Third Prize: €5,000 EUR (Note: Corrected to €500 EUR as per official regulation breakdown)
- Special Student Prize: €1,000 EUR
- Physical Exhibition Placement: 18 selected finalist artists will display their artworks at the Imagoars Art Space in Venice, Italy (November 14–28, 2026).
- Catalogue Publication: Finalist artworks will be featured in the official printed "YICCA" catalogue, distributed free of charge to finalists, invited curators, gallerists, and collectors.
- Media & Promotional Campaign: Global press coverage, online promotion, and networking opportunities with international art professionals.
Application Fee
Submission fees are structured according to the number of entered artworks and apply to both Public and Private registration formats:
- 1 Artwork: €55.00 EUR
- 2 Artworks: €85.00 EUR
- 3 Artworks: €115.00 EUR
- 4 Artworks: €135.00 EUR
- 5 Artworks: €150.00 EUR
- 6 Artworks: €165.00 EUR
Payments are processed via Credit Card, PayPal, or Bank Transfer to Aps MOHO. Entry fees are non-refundable.
