Organizer Information
ZMINA:Resilience is co-organized by three institutions co-funded through the EU Creative Europe Programme: IZOLYATSIA (Ukraine), Malý Berlín (Slovakia), and Trans Europe Halles (Sweden).
IZOLYATSIA is a non-profit platform for cultural initiatives, founded in 2010 in Donetsk. Following Russia's seizure of its premises in 2014 — subsequently turned into an illegal prison — it relocated to Kyiv and continues operating across Ukraine and internationally, focusing on cultural decentralization, research, and support of the cultural and creative sectors.
Malý Berlín is an independent cultural center opened in 2018 in the historic center of Trnava, Slovakia. A member of Trans Europe Halles and the Anténa network, it hosts over 300 events annually and has actively supported Ukrainian artists and cultural managers displaced by the war since 2022.
Trans Europe Halles (TEH) is a non-profit international network of over 170 independent, grassroots arts and culture centers across more than 40 countries, headquartered in Lund, Sweden. Founded in 1983, TEH specializes in repurposing abandoned buildings for arts, culture, and activism, and facilitates Creative Europe cooperation projects across the continent.
Title & Description
ZMINA:Resilience – Support for International Showcasing of Co-creation Projects
ZMINA:Resilience is a rolling open call for cultural and arts organizations seeking funding to bring co-created artistic and cultural works to wider audiences through public showcasing and presentation events. Funded projects must involve co-creations produced by partnerships that include at least one organization from Ukraine and at least one from another Creative Europe country. The call aims to maximize audience reach, visibility, sustainability, and the future showcasing potential of these works. Selected organizations are expected to actively collaborate in adapting works for new audiences — through contextualization, translation, engagement of local artists and communities, and parallel programming.
