International Art Competition “Abstract” – Contemporary Art Room Gallery 2026
Contemporary Art Room Gallery invites artists worldwide to participate in the 10th edition of its international online art competition themed “Abstract.” This global Competition focuses on nonrepresentational and abstract visual art practices, encouraging artists to submit innovative and conceptually driven artworks across a broad range of media.
The competition welcomes artworks that explore abstraction through form, color, gesture, texture, symbolism, spatial experimentation, or conceptual interpretation. Artists are encouraged to present original works that move beyond literal representation while engaging audiences through creative visual language and artistic experimentation.
Eligible submissions may include works in Painting, Drawing, Photography, Sculpture, Digital art, prints, Fiber/Textile Art, Collage, and Installation practices. The competition is open to both emerging and established artists working across contemporary visual art disciplines. However, sound art and Video/Film works are not accepted for this edition.
Selected artworks will be included in an international online exhibition hosted by Contemporary Art Room Gallery. Winning artists will receive digital awards, featured promotion, and extensive online visibility through the gallery’s website and promotional channels. The first-place winning artwork will also appear on the official exhibition poster, offering additional international exposure.
The judging panel evaluates submissions based on creativity, originality, thematic interpretation, artistic quality, technical execution, and overall visual impact. Merit Awards and Honorable Mention recognitions may also be granted depending on the quality and number of submissions received.

Eligibility
