The American Color Print Society (ACPS) is an arts organization dedicated to advancing printmaking as a fine-art medium. For 86 years, the society has created exhibition opportunities for both established and emerging print artists. Its Annual Fall Exhibition is open to both ACPS members and non-members, with accepted artists eligible for multiple awards.
The 2026 exhibition will be hosted at The Plastic Club in Philadelphia. Founded in 1897 by professional women artists who sought a space to meet, exchange ideas, and exhibit their work, The Plastic Club has a long history as an artist-led exhibition venue.

The American Color Print Society 86th Annual Fall Exhibition
The American Color Print Society 86th Annual Fall Exhibition invites artists to submit original prints for consideration in a juried group exhibition. The call is open to ACPS members and non-members, allowing printmakers to have their work exhibited in Philadelphia and considered for several cash awards.
Non-members may submit digital images of one or two prints created within the last three years, in any printmaking medium. Submitted works must not have previously been exhibited in an ACPS or Plastic Club exhibition. Photography is not eligible.
Dave DiMarchi of 9inhandpress will jury the exhibition; he is a multidisciplinary artist, curator, educator, and master printer whose practice includes printmaking, drawing, painting, works on paper, and related media.

Eligibility
- International/geographic eligibility: The source does not specify a nationality or geographic restriction.
- ACPS members: Must be current, paid-up members of the American Color Print Society.
- Non-members: Eligible to submit one or two prints for jurying.
- Works submitted by non-members must have been created within the last three years.
- Non-member submissions must not have previously been exhibited at an ACPS or Plastic Club exhibition.
- Maximum artwork size: 40 inches on the longest side.
- Accepted works must remain at the gallery for the entire exhibition.
- Prints must meet the exhibition's framing and presentation requirements.
Program Benefits & Awards
Selected artists will have their work exhibited at The Plastic Club in Philadelphia from November 1–25, 2026. All accepted artists are eligible for awards.
Cash awards include:
- Best of Show: $600
- Second Award: $300
- Third Award: $100
- Michael Lasuchin Memorial Award: $500
- Hugh & Dorothy Hutton Intaglio Award: $100
- Otto Lambert Grever Lithography Award: $100
- Elizabeth H. MacDonald Memorial Award: $100
- Bob Jackson Mixed Media Memorial Award: $100
- Sy Hakim Memorial Woodcut Award: $100
- Three Juror's Honorable Mention Awards
The exhibition also provides artists with an opportunity to have their work presented in a dedicated printmaking exhibition and potentially sold. ACPS retains a 30% commission on sales.

- ACPS members: $20
The fee can be paid online through the submission form or by check payable to the American Color Print Society. A completed submission form and digital image are required.

Additional Details
Artists should ensure that their work satisfies the exhibition's physical presentation requirements. Partial frames such as clips or brackets are not accepted. Accepted works must be gallery-ready and remain at the venue throughout the exhibition.
Artists who ship their work must provide a pre-paid return label. ACPS states that it will repack work as thoroughly as possible but is not responsible for damage occurring during inbound or return shipping. Accepted artists will receive shipping/drop-off instructions after acceptance.
ACPS also reserves the right to reproduce submitted artwork for promotional purposes related to the exhibition and the society. No late entries will be accepted.
