Organizer Information
ARTS 14C is a non-profit organization based in Jersey City dedicated to providing artists with the space, resources, and exposure needed to thrive. By offering short-term residencies and participating in major local cultural events like JCAST, ARTS 14C acts as a vital bridge between individual creative practice and the broader public arts community.
Title & Description:
ARTS 14C Summer 2026 Residencies: Special Project & "Back to the Studio" for Teachers
These residencies are structured as intensive, project-based stays that prioritize creative freedom and feasibility. "Back to the Studio" specifically targets artist-educators who need a dedicated "pause" from institutional demands to re-center their personal practice. The general Special Project Residency invites artists with a clearly defined vision to utilize ARTS 14C’s large studio spaces. Both programs culminate in a high-profile Public Presentation or Exhibition during JCAST in October 2026, ensuring that residents' work is seen by a wide audience of collectors and enthusiasts.
