ASSEMBLE – International Arts Programme explores climate emergency at the intersection of involuntary migration, displacement, conflict, and ecological decline. The initiative is led by D6:EU (Cyprus), with partners including Congress of Cultural Activists (Ukraine), Moving Artists (Spain), and international mobility networks such as On the Move, D6: Culture in Transit (UK), ARC – Artist at Risk Connection (France), and Larnaka2030 (Cyprus). ASSEMBLE fosters inclusive, cross-border cultural practices and networks, offering artists and curators opportunities to engage critically with urgent global challenges while ensuring mobility justice, cultural rights, and freedom of expression.

ASSEMBLE Fellowship – Open Call for Curators and Cultural Practitioners 2026–27
This fellowship programme invites Artists, Curators, and Cultural Practitioners with lived experience of forced migration or displacement to join a 12-month international programme. Participants will develop new curatorial projects addressing the climate emergency and its intersections with conflict, displacement, and ecological decline.
The fellowship combines local production support, international learning labs, residencies, and a digital exhibition to share work globally. Fellows will gain practical experience and mentorship while expanding professional networks across Europe and beyond. This open call is available for practitioners based in Cyprus, the Basque Country (Spain), and Ukraine, with travel across Cyprus, Spain, Ukraine, Morocco, and the United Kingdom required.

Eligibility
- Open to professional Artists, Curators, and Cultural Practitioners with lived experience of involuntary migration or displacement.
- Applicants must reside legally in Cyprus, the Basque Country (Spain), or Ukraine.
- Age 18+.
- Evidence of professional practice, including prior projects and collaboration with artists or communities.
- Able to travel internationally for programme activities.
- English proficiency required.
Program Benefits & Awards
- Fee: €9,000 per Fellow (subject to local tax).
- Production Budget: €6,000 for project costs, local travel, and participation fees.
- Fully funded international travel, accommodation, and per diems for programme activities.
- Access to curatorial labs in Cyprus, Spain, Ukraine (hybrid), and a group residency in Newcastle-upon-Tyne (UK).
- Participation in the On the Move Cultural Mobility Forum (Morocco) and related networking events.
- Inclusion in a digital exhibition showcasing the three curatorial projects globally.
- Mentoring, peer-to-peer learning, and knowledge-sharing across international partners.
- Exposure through communications campaigns and social media takeovers highlighting Fellows’ work.
