Blue Koi Gallery (also operating via Koi’s Artist Award) hosts international digital exhibitions and juried competitions evaluated by art professionals. The platform provides global exposure, professional recognition, and marketing outreach, connecting emerging and established creators with global audiences, art admirers, and collectors.

Submissions are officially open for this online exhibition and competitive award program. The curatorial theme, "Art of Motion," invites visual creators and photographers to explore movement, energy, and the physical feeling of action within a standalone piece of art. Chosen works will be curated into a month-long online exhibition, establishing a permanent showcase on the gallery website alongside contemporary artists worldwide.

Eligibility
Open to emerging and established artists and photographers worldwide, ages 18 and older, across all technical skill levels. Submissions must be entirely original works created and owned by the submitting artist, ensuring they do not infringe upon the rights of any third party. AI-generated artwork is strictly prohibited.
RECOGNITION TIER BENEFITS & PRIZES
The competition presents itemized digital awards, marketing campaigns, and certificates across distinct achievement levels:
- 1st Prize: A $150 USD cash award, a comprehensive digital award package, a dedicated newsletter announcement, tailored promotion across social media platforms, and a professionally designed certificate.
- Second Prize & Third Prize: Inclusion in the month-long online exhibition, a dedicated artist profile page on the gallery platform, social media promotion, and a professionally designed certificate.
- Finalists: Placement in the month-long online group exhibition, a permanent digital showcase on the Blue Koi Gallery website, and a professionally designed certificate.
- All Winners: Inclusion in the centralized online art exhibition, accompanied by a targeted promotional email blast dispatched directly to galleries, art admirers, and collectors.
TECHNICAL & LOGISTICAL SPECIFICATIONS
Artists must prepare their files and align with the following operational conditions:
- Accepted Media: Open to any 2D and 3D visual mediums in all still life styles, including painting, drawing, photography, mixed media, and sculpture. Moving images or video formats are not outlined as accepted.
- Image Capacity Limits: Artists may submit up to a maximum of six (6) total images per entry form.
- File Formats & Sizes: Images must be high-quality files in JPG, JPEG, or PNG formats, with a maximum file size of 2 MB per image.
- Presentation Rules: Submissions must be properly cropped and completely free of digital mockups, physical frames, signatures, or watermarks.
- Usage & Copyrights: Artists retain full copyright to their physical works. By entering, creators grant the program a non-exclusive right to reproduce and use submitted images for promotional purposes (including online galleries, press releases, and social media announcements) with full credit provided to the artist.
- Commercial Sales: Inclusion in the virtual exhibition does not imply direct physical display or transactional retail sale. All inbound public sales inquiries generated by the platform will be directed straight to the artist for independent negotiation.
Fees & Entry Rates
- Free Submission Week Window: Artists were permitted to submit exactly one (1) artwork for free during the first seven days of the competition run (May 1st – 7th, 2026).
- Standard Entry Fee Scale: Applies to all entries submitted after the initial free week. Entry fees are non-refundable and must be settled in full at the time of submission:
- Baseline Fee: $20 USD for the first 2 artworks.
- Incremental Rate: $6 USD for each additional artwork.

Access the digital entry form on the official competition portal, complete your personal account profile, upload up to 6 properly cropped JPEG or PNG files under 2MB, allocate titles/descriptions, and complete payment via the portal to receive instant submission confirmation.
