OPEN CALL: BODY PARTS
This international Open Call invites artists, writers, photographers, filmmakers, and image-makers to respond to the theme “BODY PARTS.”
The theme explores the human body as a site of meaning, identity, and expression—ranging from physical gesture and anatomical detail to symbolic, abstract, and emotional interpretations. The call encourages submissions that investigate the body as a vessel for storytelling, memory, vulnerability, strength, and transformation.
Artists are encouraged to interpret the theme freely, whether through literal representation or conceptual abstraction. Submissions may be intimate or expansive, experimental or narrative-driven, and can engage with personal, cultural, or social dimensions of bodily experience.
Selected works will be showcased across the Ode to Them digital platform and Articles for the Overwhelmed, with opportunities for further editorial features and creative collaborations.
