Title & Description
Stipendium 2027 – Kunststiftung Baden-Württemberg
Stipendium 2027 – Kunststiftung Baden-Württemberg is an annual scholarship supporting the artistic development of emerging artists connected to Baden-Württemberg. The program provides financial freedom for artists to continue developing their practice, conduct artistic research and pursue planned projects. It is not a project-specific grant and does not require artists to relocate; the scholarship is a financial award that allows recipients to remain flexible regarding their place of residence and production.

Additional Details
The selection process is conducted through specialist juries for the relevant artistic disciplines, with the foundation’s advisory board responsible for the final allocation of funding. The assessment focuses on the applicant’s artistic talent. A justification for an unsuccessful decision is not required, and there is no right of appeal.
Applicants must submit work samples with their application. Scholarship recipients are required to provide a short written report at the end of the scholarship year. For publications such as books, catalogues, CDs or compositions, two copies are requested. Recipients are also encouraged to acknowledge the Kunststiftung Baden-Württemberg as a funder in publications and other work produced during the scholarship year.
Applicants should also note that simultaneous applications to the Kunststiftung Baden-Württemberg and Akademie Schloss Solitude in the same year are not permitted. Applications to the Kunstbüro Mentoring program are possible, although both forms of funding cannot necessarily be taken up simultaneously.
